Built
nearly 200 years ago as stables for the working horses on Marks Hall
Farm, The Reid Rooms provide a unique rural setting combining the best
of modern facilities with timeless charm. The attractive weather boarded
buildings are set in beautiful countryside and back on to the moat of
the Grade II Listed 15th century farmhouse and its superb gardens.
The Reid Rooms
offer wedding guests a linked series of rooms surrounding a landscaped
courtyard. This gives great flexibility, giving guests the option to
gather for quiet conversation in the drawing room, while others enjoy
an evening disco in the bar.

Directions
FROM
CHELMSFORD
Take the A1060 signed Sawbridgeworth & Roxwell (Rainsford Road by
Lancaster/Jeep showroom) for approximately 7 miles (10-15 minutes).
After sign for Margaret Roding road bears right. Turn left here into
Marks Hall Lane, signed The Reid Rooms. Continue for about 300 yards
and The Reid Rooms is situated on the right.
FROM M25
(Junction 27)
Follow signs for M11/Stansted and proceed as given in below directions.
FROM M11
(Junction 7)
Take the A414/Harlow exit and follow signs to Ongar (approximately 5-7
miles). At Four Wantz roundabout in Ongar take 1st exit, signed Fyfield/B184.
Keep on road for approximately 5-6 miles. At T-junction with A1060 turn
right following signs for Leaden Roding/Chelmsford. At Leaden Roding
turn right at mini-roundabout, following signs for Chelmsford. Margaret
Roding is the next village. There are two sharp bends, then after approx.
300 yards turn right into Marks Hall Lane and The Reid Rooms are situated
on the right 300 yards along Marks Hall Lane.
